Award Categories & Winners

Every year the APMP UK recognises the organisations, teams and individuals who have shone over the past 12 months. The winners are announced at the APMP UK Annual Conference Black Tie dinner.

2014 has seen yet another record set in the number of entries for these prestigious National awards. Five anonymous judges have studied, evaluated and scored the applications independently resulting in the following winners in each category:

Best Newcomer Award

Winner: Jane Brownsord (Vodafone Global Enterprise)

Innovation Award

ricoh logoTo recognise a new way of making a positive impact to successful bid and proposal management.

Winner: IMF Bid Team (Mitie Facilities Service)

People Development Award

Winner: Capita Property and Infrastructure Limited

The Fiona Flower Knowledge Management Award

qvidian logoTo recognise the implementation of knowledge management that has resulted in more efficient and effective proposal submissions. Fiona Flower was a staunch supporter of the APMP UK until her untimely death in 2012. With the support of her family, we have instigated this award in her memory and to recognise her own pioneering work in the field of knowledge management.

Winner: Knowledge Team, Amey

Writing Award

QorusTo recognise excellent use of the English language – clarity, brevity and impact.

Winner: Louise Rance (Mitie Facilities Service)

Bid Excellence Award

Winner: Laura Shepherd, Cushman & Wakefield
